Favorite grease?

I am not up to speed yet on my T650. I have a recent background in aircraft maintenance and a lifetime in auto maintenance. I know aircraft engine, bearing and other manufactures have very strict grease types they want used on their metal surfaces depending on application. ie aircraft wheel bearings are subject to very cold temps while in flight and go from zero mph to 150 mph in just a few feet so grease type is VERY important. What grease do you guys like to use on your machines? Is 'cheap' grease good enough? Thank you

I like the bobcat grease, not the supreme or whatever it is but the next grade lower seems stickier. Otherwise I use lucas or mystic or whatever red sticky grease is on hand. No cheap grease as it doesnt stay in the pivots on the vertical lift very long and a lot of it is not too waterproof.

I use moly grease, it's bessy but works very well. It doesn't get real cold here, so keep an eye on temeprature ratings. I have heard of members talking about the horrible sounds oming from pivot points while pushing snow, the grease essentially turned to ice.

I am new to site . we have purchased some bobcat s750 for snow removal and yard maintenance. we run 500 school buses on the road and also a salvage yard. everthing is done on low bid . we where using kendall (Phillips Conoco) we where constantly replacing king pins spring pins you name where anything had to be greased. salvage yard with shears and heavy equipment. 3 years ago switched half the yards to lubrication engineers grease and other half to mobiles grease. salvage yard uses LE's grease and it has cut down on failure's down to nothing, also buses can't even remember last time we have done a spring pin now, and only king pins we have done have been in the lite weight front axles on international buses, which everbody I talk to has same problem. Kendall Phillips Conoco people came here with our lubricants supplier took samples of failed parts . NEVER HEARD A WORD BACK FROM THEY WOULD NOT EVEN CALL OUR SUPPLIER BACK. AFTER 3 WEEKS THAT WHEN I SWITCHED. So all grease is not same . might be some other good grease out there but I will pay the money for LE's grease or mobil there products where like a dream for my mechanics. and has cut down on replacing 300 dollar king pins I can buy a lot of good grease for one king pin cost

I use a high performance lithium thickened grease(Lucus Red-N_Tacky #2), temp. range is 0-300F. If you need a grease for lower temps. Dow Corning Molykote is rated for -40F or Dupont Teflon Moly is rated for -10F.
I don't like the moly grease just because of the black mess it makes.

I use moly grease, it does make a big mess but it works very well for me.

I have completely switched over to Lucas Extra heavy duty. I use it in everything from truck wheel bearings to loader pins. good water resistance, stays in u joints and its pretty easy to find.

We use mystic synthetic blend grease. it pumps easy and seems to stay put. We used to use chevron rykotac unless you heated it up it was a bear to pump

At home I use mystic's version of red and tacky. If I didn't have good faith it in, I wouldn't use it. I use timken construction and off road equipment grease at work. At 5% moly I think it is awesome grease, but I'd have a hard time recommending it to somebody to buy it. From what I see it is $7-$9 a tube. For 14 oz the tube looks short filled. There is always several air pockets that result is wasted grease trying g to prime the gun again. Simply terrible packaging.

Find a local Schaeffers dealer for your grease and never look back. I love the 238 Ultra Supreme, it has extra tackifier added. Lasts and lasts on my semi truck 5th wheel plate. I use it in my skid steer too. I won't touch the tractor supply, auto parts stores brands anymore...
