We removed and disassembled the control valve. The previous owner had replaced the tandem pumps. It must have dynomited. Found the spools had burrs. Removed and polished the spools. Used a bore hone on the bores and cleaned them. Resealed, reassembled and reinstalled control valve. Both the Lift and Tilt functions are FAST. The only problem is the aux solenoid is dead. It is a Salami VD8A valve, but can't find who makes the solenoid. Can anyone help?
Thank you.

Glad you found the problem and managed to fix it.
The aux, are they electric solenoids? Some of the stems can be disassembled and the metal fragments removed.

The solenoid is electronic. It is self contained and doesn't run in any oil. It is dead internally. I can find no markings on it for manufacture info, just a square box that fits on the end of the spool.

Have you tried the dealer? some times their pices aren't too nasty, yet others they really are.... You may be lucky enough to get out of it cheaply.

The aux solenoid is made by G LISK. The make it for Thomas. I bought one from Thomas for around $1000-ouch, but the aux now work. The valve is a SALAMI VD8A valve. You can get parts from SALAMI in California more economical than through Thomas.
