2008 CTL 55

Guys I need your help I want to bid on a insurance owned Gehl CTL 55 the problem is the engine got submerged in pond water.So now it blows white smoke.Worse case scenario I have to replace the engine which specs say is a 51 hp yanmar 4 cylinder. So what other equipment uses this engine out here.So I can be on the look out.Yes I know I am running a risk of having electrical problems down the road but I cant afford to buy one out right from someone. Depending on how motivated you are, i'm sure you could get a Kubota to fit, they run about 2k on ebay for a runner.
I's still try and keep the bid down low, as it could be something simple like a turbo or could be worse.
If it runs, i'd like to think the engine damage is minimal, but you can never be 100% on that.
If the machine was running when it hit the pond, stay away. If it was left in a pit that fileld with water and it was drained properly before starting, it should be ok. There are a lot of Ifs there.
