I have a GEHL 4840 which I bought used about 1 year ago with 1200 hrs. I have now put 100hrs on the machine and really like it. I was able to get the shop manual from a dealer downloaded onto a stick. And, it didnt cost me a dime. When I went to my local dealer they wanted $150 bucks for the shop manual. Give it a try.

Wow, you did well. My local Bobcat dealer would never do that, they would ask for my CC then hand over a cd or print out....

Would you be willing to share this manual? I currently own 4610 but planning to upgrade to something newer and slightly heavier. You never know. Maybe I'll end up buying 4840.

Been a while since I logged on. Yes, I can share it if needed. Did you ever get a 4840? Still like mine but need to do some work on it.

Please, share if you can. My email: [email protected]. I still use my 4610, but keep my eyes open on something heavier. Definitely Gehl. These machines are the best!

Digging back 6 plus years. Can you share that manual for the 4840e?
