I bought a used S160 (45hrs) last week and the left pedal is hard to push down to raise the lift arms. The pedal is fine when rotated forward to lower the arms. The right pedal works fine both ways. I checked to see if anything was restricting the pedal and didn't see anything. After a couple of hours my left ankle tired and sore. Is there an adjustment somewhere for the pedal? I've got a Kubota L39 TLB and operating the Bobcat is a whole new deal!!!

Raise the cab, remove the bolt that connects the pedal linkage to the crossbar. Check the pedal movement to see if it's still stiff with it disconnected. If it still stiff remove the pedal to find out whats binding. If the pedal moved freely when disconnected look for something binding the crossbar(wiring, rock or critter nest).

OM - Thanks for your response. I've never raised the cab - but I will this weekend and take a look and remove the pedal bolt to check for unrestricted movement.
