I have an s220 that once in a great while - maybe twice in 4-6mo - when you go to turn it on nothing will happen and no input will read on the screen. I could have just driven it with no problems and the next time I start it there it is. So far it will do it one time and not for awhile again. Would anyone know what to check to see where the problem is? I thought about unhooking the battery cable to see if that resets it somehow but have not done that yet. Skidloader runs fine otherwise and has 5200 hrs on it.

sounds like a starter issue to me
I thought no input had something to do with the computer not receiving any signal? I actually have replaced the starter for other reasons and it did this before and after the starter was replaced. Thanks for the input

"No Input" means the controller(computer) is not communicating with the left instrument panel. Could be a corroded connection, rubbed thru wire or controller going bad.
Pull the panel and clean the wiring connector. Clean the connector at the controller also.
Next would be to inspect the wiring harness all the way to the controller.
If you're still seeing it you'll need a new controller when it fails completely. New one has to be programmed by dealer for your machine.

INPUT generally means a bad controller, but since your problem is intermittent, I'm going to say you have a partially broken communication wire. Every time I have ran into INPUT, that is all the machine would do.

Well now it officially has quit working. I checked connections and they actually looked good and still had lubricant at each connection. If I understand correctly the controller is above the key switch then? Is their any way to test anything to be sure it is the controller that is the problem? I wiggled wires between consoles and key to console with no luck. I assume that if I get no input, the brake switch works when key is on, and I can turn the lights off with key that the key switch isn't a problem in this? I checked wires best I can the harness and individual wires don't seem to be broke or have rub spots anywhere. Thanks for the tips on this

Controller is behind left side kick panel. Wiring harness runs from there back behind seat area then up to cab, along the roof to the left side instrument panel.

Try removing, and cleaning all the ground connections to the battery. Including the small connectors on the battery post, and the frame connections. Anything with a black wire. some of the small wires are controller grounds.
