Hi All, I like to get some advice from the more experienced. I recently bought a T133, early 90' model. I bought it with an engine problem, it wasn't operational at all. I have got an engine installed and got it running. All seems ok at first glance, lifts, tilts the bucket, goes back and forth. Firstly I noticed that it gets noisy when moving forward or back. It is a strange (whinning?) noise but only appear when you start moving the left or right lever (control arm). If I stay stationary and lift or tilt the bucket it sound fine. When I am moving at half speed or hight it starts shaking a little, not sure why. What should I look at first? Any suggestion what to check? TIA Tom

First thing to check is fluid level, replace the filter(s).
How long has you run it? is the oil foamy?
Some times it takes time to get the air out of the system, a little noise is normal for hydrostatic drive too. Without hearing, it's hard to say if it's normal or not.

I have a T133 also and when it'smoving it could wake the dead. When it's standing still everything lifts and tilts fine with very little noise but as soon as you touch those sticks you'd better have earplugs.
If you don't mind my asking what engine did you put in?
Hey Tazza... how you been?

Thanks Jyuma, I hope what I have is not normal, it is a strange and irritating noise. my problem is the same as what you describe, lifting tilting etc is ok, but moving the stick and this bad noise is on. If I am going downhill it is significantly quiter, but uphill gets really bad. I have replaced the filter, cleaned the reservoir, filled up with new hydraulic oil , no change. The noise sounds a little like when the power steering is playing up... Could it be a problem with the chargepump not pushing enough oil? Interestingly when I had it on blocks without the wheels after replacing the oil I have started it and it "went" forward and backward without this noise. Any thoughts? The engine I have put in is a Mazda 2.2L Diesel I have adopted to it Regards, Tom
