I have a 2006 S150 bobcat with a v2203. The engine has blown after 1100 hrs. I am trying to find the best option to get this machine up and running again. I have priced a new engine that is exactly the same as my 2006. Prices range from 6000 to 7800. One question I have is a 2012 engine compatible? I have considered remans but prefer to put a new engine. Any suggestions?

I saw that no one has replied to your post, I haven't seen any good replacements for the S150 yet per say that is going to be cheaper than the range of the 6000-7,800 that you have seen for new engines. I do have on hand remaned V2203's for your skid steer, I know it's not your first choice, but new engines are really hard to come by for a fair price. They do have a 1 Year warranty

I must have over looked this one.
Ebay, get another V2203 off there. There are quite a few that used to be on refrigerated trucks. You may need to swap the sump and manifolds, but they should work pretty much the same. They may be v2203-E not the V2203-DI you probably have. One is direct injection (DI) the other is not.
I think there is 2hp between the two.
