Sservice tips

Im doing the first service on my2006 diesel S-175 Skidsteer that Ive done myself. need a few tips please? Anyone know how much engine oil is needed? Any tips regarding fuel filter, does it need to be bled after changing it?

Good to hear you got it sorted out. Not much to it really. Engine oil and filter, air filters, hydraulic filter. That's really about it.
Check or replace the coolant too.

Just would have made it easier if someone that had done it before had helped out. I had a bit of a struggle finding the oil drain plug. Then I had some starting issues with fuel filter and didnt realize there was a pump up bulb on the line until after. Over filled the oil a bit.

Hey Longhorn, I personally have never seen an S175. S185's seem to be much more plentiful. Do you have an operator's manual for your machine? That should have most of the answers you need - or needed. FWIW
