Hello everyone, I have been doing alot of reading of people's opinions on power down, floating with the arms because of more weight being applied, or floating without the arms like a conventional truck plow, so here is the idea I came up to cover all three ideas.

I made a fixture to do just that. The chain is adjustable for how much free float I want to give it for doing rock areas.

But then I can press down and have the power to scrape paved surfaces.

Then to top it off I can use it all year long as a trailer mover.

Your not the first with this idea, because it is a good one. I build a meyer one rigid but wished I had left the chains there. I would suggest that additional trip spings on the blade may be needed. I found a 3rd spring made quite an improvement for scraping harded snow.
