I finally collected all of the parts that I needed to build my door. The final piece was the threshold plate for the bottom of the door. I was going to build one, but then I checked with the dealer. It was only $40, so I bought one instead. The lift-off hinges and slam latch came from a place up here in Ontario called Spaenaur (the Canadian version of McMaster-Carr). The latch is a really nice one piece, lockable unit with a paddle style handle and an automotive bear-trap style closure. I scored a piece of 3/8" lexan from the local classifieds, which negated the need for a door frame. So, here it is:

I installed some self-adhesive closed-cell weather stripping around the perimeter of the door, more for vibration control than for sealing. The only drilling I had to do was 4 holes for the hinges.
So far, so good. As you can see, we got snow last night, so this thing may get a work out sooner than I was hoping!!

Looks really nice indeed.
Do you know the part number for that threshold piece that bolts in? I called the dealer and they said I needed two different pieces. One that bolts to the white part of the frame on the machine and that was $158.00, and then I needed a Top side piece for it which was $220.00. Sounds pretty pricey to me.

Ok, so after I posted my last question I got on Bobcat's parts website and found the part number for the threshold piece you purchased for $40.00 I called our local Bobcat dealer and they said none of their stores stocked this piece anymore, but the factory warehouse had one. I could purchase one for a staggering $330.xx So...........Looks like unfortunately I'm going to have to try and build something.

I can't remember if I asked you in the email I sent, but what size are the hinges you bought? I got on McMaster-Carr and was looking at them and trying to figure out what I'm going to order. I'm thinking 4" height x 3" wide hinges. If you could let me know that would be great! Thanks, Kyle

The hinges I used were a Spaenaur part number 098-184BK. They are 4" wide hinges.
The closest McMaster-Carr part number would be 15195A25.

That's really nice work Roe, I hope you don't mind if I take your lead and do the same for my 440B. :)
