I have a slow drip from the hole at the bottom of the fuel filter assembly. My parts manual says there is supposed to be a wing plug there with a washer, but my service manual discusses a push in poppet valve to occasionally drain water. Can anyone clarify what I need? Perhaps one of the manuals never acught up with the other. I have a later model: 24337. If I can put in some kind of temproary plug, can someone tell me the thread specs so I don't screw up the threads in the unit. Hard to see under there without removing the unit and then having to purge the air. Thanks.
