My 2060 quit working today. The engine starts and runs fine but controls stopped working. No tilt or lift with foot pedals. No forward or reverse with t-bar. Just before it quit working the steering acted up, not moving like it should to one side. When I turned the t-bar there was a ratcheting noise. shortly after that the tilt/lift and the drive both quit. When I shut it off and restarted it the tilt worked just a little then quit again. One of the hydrostats has been leaking for quite a while but has been working fine. I keep putting off fixing it because of so many other things needing repair around the farm. Just make sure the oil level is ok. Also one tilt cylinder leaks a little. I'm wondering if there is a lockout or switch not working properly. Hoping not the pump or something else expensive. Thanks for any ideas. Pete.

Almost sounds like your drive belt or connection between the pump and motor is bad.
Does it have any warning lights on for charge pressure?

The hydraulic pressure indicator light goes out when I start the engine, so I assume its getting pressure. I know the park brake locks the drive wheels but would it lock the t-bar also if the switch was bad? The linkage moves under the seat but there is no response. Thanks, Pete.

Sorry not familar with these. Try tradebit.com to see if you can buy a service manual there. The price is usually @ $40

Finally got around to tearing into it. Removed wheels and chaincase cover to disconnect drive chains so I could tow it up the hill to my shop. The coupler between the engine and pumps broke loose from the flex plate. Thanks for the help. Glad it wasn't something more. Put new o-rings in one of the drive motors also because it was leaking from a seam. Now if I can find the right size o-ring for the hose connections to the motor and get it to stop leaking everything will be good. Warning light I saw was for engine oil pressure, not hydraulics. Silly me.
