i am afraid it may have been this way before i started . all i could tewll was a/c not blowing cold, never thought to change direction of knob, all i know is heater valve seemed to be by passing both hoses hot, replaced valve same same . has the jumper harness. wires correct. valve workinking proprely porpotinal as well just backwards, feeling awufally stupid, any help. yes did try red to black swap ads well as red to white or combitions of same.(unit needed to leave) told customer its backwards made labels but driving me nuts, sending one out this way is not what we do. got two hrs into with no joy. i did put old valve in where i could see it to confirm switch to red open switch to blue closed (potentiemoter) was under the gun ,but why

I don't know, swith install someway that is was rotating wrong, knob not on right? Real strecthes I know. If I ran into this, I would have tired a different valve. Being a bobcat tech, I'm sure you think real highly of bobcat qc. I don't know, can the motor be put on upside down?

6 MONTHS LATER STILL WORKING THIS CASE CAN BE CLOSED THANKS..
Don't feel bad. We put out equipment that costs $1.5-2 million each with a second plant in an alternate location (cheap labour) doing assembly as well.
The machines coming out of our plant are pretty much turn key (if they had keys) after PDI. The other plant's machines: 2-3 days of solid work by 3-4 techs to make them deliverable to the customer.
Sad.

it is sad, granted we all screw up and miss things, we try our best not to ,but mistakes happen, thats life, but being able to trust our compatriots, ? SAD, I SUPPOSE MY DEFITION OF SQUARED AWAY. may be somewhat different than others, for me it means im not chasining it, no mud on my face.

As long as it blows cold air and the customer is happy, your job is done.
