i recently aquired an older m-371, and have found multiple hydrulic issues with it. upon initial inspection found the o-rings leaking between the valve bodies. i topped off the fluid, and this only increased the fluid loss. i resealed the valve bodies, degreased, topped off the fluid level again, only to find that the pressure line to the valve assembly is leaking as well, and may have been causing most of the leakage in the first place. after speaking with the bobcat dealer, and techs, took the valve assembly in to them only to find that someone has welded the pressure control valve solid. this, i am guessing may be causing most of the problems. my problems are that i can't find parts for this unit. i need help finding the hydrulic valve assembly, and/or the pressure control valve. i have been calling, and searching online for the past couple weeks, but with no luck so far.

I assume this is the relief valve that they messed with? Can you install new O rings and get it to seal? or is it leaking from somewhere else?
Matching older parts like this can be a nightmare, but i'm sure there would be a way.

yes it is the relief valve, and it seals, but someone has welded it solid. therefore it is running at full pressure. i have resealed the valve assembly, and then blew the pressure line. i need another valve...don't want to blow out anything else.

Short of grinding off the welds, i can't recommend anything else... You are right with the pressure setting, unless it is indeed right, or close to being right there isn't anything else you can do short of finding a new relief or installing a relief in the main hydraulic line to the control block.
Absolute worst case, i'd plug the port up to seal the high pressure section and install a relief in the main hydraulic line from the pump. Its more messing around, but if it's your only option, you may have to consider it.

an in-line valve works for me... its just as good as scrap like this. any suggestions where i can find an in-line valve, and any other info i may need?

Something like this? http://www.surpluscenter.com/item.asp?item=9-4127&catname=
I don't know what pressure you are after.
With a 2 port relief you will need to T into the pressure line, run it to the relief and the outlet to the return line to the hydraulic tank.

I think this is the right relief valve section. Please confirm though and don't take my word for it. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lot-of-2-New-Model-5000-Husco-Valve-Section-P-N-5060-/360401322022?pt=Pneumatic_Hydraulic_Valves_Parts&hash=item53e997c026
