Hello, new user but have been reading here a while and finally had a problem. I have a 773G w/turbo ser# 519023576 . last fall this happened once and then never again until this week. I got the warning light on top right panel, the one that looks like an exclamation point. solid beep with flashing light then it shuts down. this only happens at mid to high rpm. low idle light does not come on. seat belt light is also flashing. I don`t see any type of wire on the belt and buckling it does nothing. I can`t find anything on the belt in the manual ,just the seat bar. any help or direction would be great . thanks ,Rich www.pattonacres.com

The service manual says when that warning light is flashing with a continuous alarm the the engine speed is too high. Might be a faulty RPM sensor or the gap needs adjusted.
The seat belt light is just a reminder to buckle up and should turn off after 45 seconds.

ok Thanks ,must be on the lines of what you said since the speed is half throttle or above. I`ll read into that. Thanks again.

Press and hold the lights button for 2 seconds on the left panel and see if any service codes show in the hour meter display.

Thanks

It's called RPM sensor and I couldn't find it mentioned in the 773G service manual but it's in the part manual. In the 763G service manual that has the same Kubota V2203 engine it shows this. Make sure to tighten the jam nut if you make any adjustments.

I noticed it didn't say to tighten the jam nut that's why I mentioned to do it.

ahh, I see you mentioned that now.sorry I missed it. off to give it a try today and see if it works. Thanks
well I think that was it . I took it out and cleaned it and re-installed and set. the mid range speed was ok with no alert but after a couple min of running I raised the rpm and it did it again. I took it back out and the end was covered with crap again (magnet) cleaned and put back in and seems ok.run it around a little and no trouble I pressure washed under the cab and engine and just drained the oil and have to run and get a bucket of oil to put in then we will run it a little more and see how it is. Thanks a bunch for the info you were spot on.

I wonder where the metal particles are coming from that are collecting on the magnet.
