CAT 226B

I bought a fire damaged CAT226B, only the cab is toasted everything else is in good shape. The owner told me that the machine had a 1000 hrs on it when one of his workers got mad at him and threw a petrol bomb in the cab (only in South Africa). The reason i`m posting this is i want to redo the cab and will need all interior parts, but will the hour meter and all the new electronics work, with the computer or does it need reprogramming? Regards

I don't know if it holds true on the b models but with the C s it needs to be programed to the machines ecm.
