My answer is. B4 U take it to a dealer. Get under the machine and "spot the leak". To "repair a swivel joint" is huge. Check the house swing motor carrier. It could be leaking. Still. Not Easey to change out

I'm doing one right now, comes out the bottom. Warning, 90% the time the swivel is junk and has to be replaced. When I looked up parts, I did not see any seal kits available. Depending on your serial number, new swivel is $1800. Some are backordered right now. If you do pull it out, mark everyhose so you know where they go. Saw another tech replace out ans swithed two hose, blew the swiviel right out.

Gents, Recently traded into a 322 mini ex. It has a hydraulic leak in the maze of hyd lines under your feet when operating. I am hoping just a bad hose or loose connection. Any guidance on what to look for when trying to ID if swivel is bad? Thank you. Jim

Malli, Shoot that by me one more time - please. I am not picking up on the last sentence. Thank you. Jim
While there are some pros on this thread, I'll chime in...even though you have slightly smaller machine I bet they are similar in many respects...I've removed my floor plate under feet too many times to count...10-11 bolts for mine. Once the plate is removed it is 'easy' to see the swivel joint and motor from top. Also, the access plate underneath is 4 bolts. I just stuck a camera down there and just took pictures...lots. I can see a little weeping on mine looking from top. It looks like mine was replaced/refurbished at some point as it looks much cleaner than the swing motor, which looks OEM. The manual mention the breakaway torque of swivel is 50-90ft-lbs...maybe yours is binding and putting pressure on hoses??? Swivel (Large) 2013-02-09 17.04.18 (Large)

Melli, Your photos are great. Thank you for them. I pressure washed my machine today and will most likely be diving into in a few days. Your machine looks well maintained/clean compared to the condition I acquired mine in. Appreciate the help. Jim

The last 341 I had before this one I thought it was leaking in the swing joint, but it was loose line on the top. I was gonna rebuild it. I done a lot of research and didn't seem that bad of a job to me. Not saying the other guys are wrong but i thought mine came out of the top. Do like the others say and check the lines and if you do have to take it out make the lines so you know where they go. When I say didn't seem that bad, keep in mind I didn't do it, I just researched it. Im sure it would be some work but I can do a lot in the winter in my warm dry shop for a thousand bucks! I think the post You weren't following he was say they are most times trashed.

all good advice. A confirm swivel is leaking. b confirm internall leaks this will show by dead head one function and see if another moves indicate internall.leakage. if you are going to do this job, and yes ive done a dozen. prior to dissemble MARK ALL LINES. set bkt on jack so you can push house for line up., buy at least 3set of seals they come indv in case you cut one. put some hyd oil in youre old ladys microwave and warm seal seals prior to install and don't get caught. on both accounts will make them happy. another bit of advice is you are going to get dripped on while removeing , a rain suit and face shield. makes life much more pleasant. good luck BRO.
