I hope some one can provide me with some advice on this. I recently changed laptops at home, and I cannot seem to get the HTML editor to work on this computer. I am thinking that it is a setting in IE, but I am not sure which one. Anybody ever run into this before? Thanks in advance.

What happens when you click on HTML? Blank screen? Try clicking on Preview and then click back to the page. That has worked in the past. Also what version of IE are you running?

I am using IE 8.0 on this machine. I have tried every relavents setting in IE to no avail. I have selected the HTML mode in my profile screen, the HTML top bar does not even appear in the message screen. The preview screen looks just like this post, no paragraph breaks. My other 2 computers work fine, it is only this one. Cheers, SR.

Hmmm. Not sure if its an IE 8.0 issue or not. Since this site is on an old code base, newer browser versions might have issues displaying everything correctly. It's on me to get this site to a newer code base, but getting the time to do it has always been a challenge. You might also try Firefox on the machine that is not working and you might have to do a "Preview" and "Back" before you can enter in text. I'll do a little more checking.. Just did a check of IE 8 on my work machine and it works okay there. I'm running Windows 7, what are you running?
