Daewoo / Yanmar type oil ?

Hey Guys, I'm new to the Forum... I haven't searched the archives... I'm wanting to change the Oil and Filter on a 1998 Daewoo 601 ( Yanmar ) Amount and type would be helpful.... Also , is there an online "Manual" ??? . . Gotta Fly... Mike & "Jaz" the Flying Dog . . .

I assume its hydrostatic drive, most of them use engine weight oil, be it 20W50, 15W40 10W30. If you live in a colder climate, you may need the thinner oil, if its hot go the heavier one.

. Thanks for the reply, . Because of detergents.... I was hoping for a "brand name" of oil.... It's scary putting in a new oil.... I've seen it ruin things before... . Yes , Cold azz MN.....I'd go with the lighter stuff... . Gotta Fly... . .
