I got this 32-50 error code twice today. Ran the machine 5+ hrs, had one error at 3 hrs, and another at 4 hrs. Both times the lift/tilt light went out, ACS warning light came on, and the arms would not lift or tilt (SJC machine). Tried to reset by lifting the lap bar, then hitting the PTOL button, but still no lift/tilt light. Had to turn the machine off, then restart the engine to reset the computer. Each time, machine went back to normal like nothing had ever happened. Sounds like maybe an intermittent wiring harness short to ground. I've been over those wires many times, and doubt this is the case, but could be I missed something. I have them all cable-tied up tight so there's little chance to vibrate. Is there anything to inspect on the actuator itself? Do they ever go bad in this manner? I haven't spent hours with the manual yet, so I don't know where it's physically located. Ideas? :) ---RC

Update: Bobcat dealer thought the actuator was starting to go south, from the symptoms I described. I ran the machine through the lift/tilt calibration cycle twice (just to make sure I did it right). Easy, took about 30 seconds start to finish. No more glitches, and I've put about 30 hrs on the machine since the two errors. I really don't feel that fixed the problem, but those are the facts. :) ---RC

These are the times i'm glad i don't have a SJC machine. Good to hear you are still working, but very odd for it to go out of adjustment so often, i thought it was one of those things you set and its fine till you mess with them.

If you think it's the harness, switch the harness plugs on the actuators. If the code changes to lift short to ground, it's most likely the actuator.

the actuators have a internal resistance on te motor when this is not the correct value the controller says there is a fault but he also do dis when the collector of the electro motor is dirty or damp a actuator is nothing else then a electromotor and a pot meter if you try to clean the collector and check the brusshes for wear maybe you can reanemate the actuator

Update with no better info: I've not used the machine much the past couple months, as I got an 863 better suited to the mowing that I do. I think the machine has about 50 hrs on it now since the first occurrence of the error code, and hasn't glitched any more. Again, I doubt the wiring harness is the issue, given that previously I had really snugged it down well with lots of cable ties, although it could be an intermittent connector (I didn't take them loose and inspect). And I'm skeptical that it really was a calibration issue. Sorry guys, no further info, but if it happens again I'll certainly update this post. I'm an absolute believer in feedback on problems that get resolved. If everyone did this on every problem, the forum would be even more valuable. :) ---Bobbie G.

Must be something in the air … Same issue on my G series 763 only I was able to select foot control and it works my joysticks are locked for tilt lift . I can't clear the alarm unless it's in foot control.. any ideas are appreciated
