I am having a bit of a problem with my S130. Today after running it for an hour and a bit it starting shutting off and giving the 14-02 code : Fuel shut-off pull solenoid error On It would continue to start up and shut down a few second later. After letting it sit for a while it would run for another 15-20 mins and then throws the code and shuts down. I checked all the connections to the solenoid and they all seem ok. Fuses are all good. Can anyone tell me what my next step should be? Thanks for your help.

Have you checked the relays...sometimes they work loose. Try swapping them around and see if problem clears up/moves.

So ended up spending the $350+ and changed the solenoid. It was a new design as well. Seems to be working now. Thanks for the suggestions.
Wow , I never seen a fuel solinoid cost so much , you know you can buy them from a Kobuta engine dealer ----------could you give me the part number so I can price it over here and see if there is any difference in the price for curiousity -----you said upgrade , did they sell you an adaptor wiring harness to connect the new solinoid to the existing wiring and you did away with the ground terminal that mounted on a bolt that held in the solinoid

Download the 863 service manual here http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=31fe914bdce0f59019747bd91027d4ddf46528a8107c8e29 (same engine ) and follow the instuctions.

Here I include some pixs, to make sure we are taking about the same engine, cause I'm not familiar with engine brands. I just download the 863 service manual, engine service part. (thanks skidsteer.ca)

This is what I take out, in that position, smells like oil burn, too strong.

I'll be searching for how to test it in the service manual and checking this thread for any advice.

Thanks everybody in the forum for the help, aparently the solenoid cause some problems to the previous owner too, I don't think those blue conector are original. After take this solenoid out I try to start the machine and start right away. Carefull trying this, if you don't know sh...t about diesel engine like me, cause after the engine start don't shut off with the key.

Basically, you pull the solonoid out with the two bolts that hold it in, then reconnect the wiring, then cycle the ignition key to see if the plunger is going in and out. If it is, the solonoid is fine. The more technical way of checking it is per the manual with the ohm meter.

just saw your picture, I would say its time for a new one. If the one on ebay does not work, call memo parts.

Parts are always more $$$ north of the border it seems. My old solenoid had the adapter wire on it. The new one did not need it, and I did do away with the ground terminal.

Hey guys, I have a fuel shutoff solenoid issue.... 1. Solenoid works when hooked up to 12V supply 2. Voltage of two leads coming into solenoid is 0.2V (+) and Ground (-) 3. I have schematic for my 864 and it shows that it is receiving power from hydraulic filter harness. 4. I have read all sorts of required voltage, but the book shows the Hydraulic sensors put out 0.5V or 7.5V (open, closed?) I did recently fix a hydraulic leak, so there is a chance the pressure was low, but did not get any "dummy" lights. Any recommendations or experiences that could help me find the reason behind the 0.2V instead of 7.5V coming into the solenoid?? short of pulling off all my wire loom and looking for broken wires, I am looking for any additional info. The damn bobcat schematic doesn't even give me wire colors!!!! Thanks in advance for your help!

I'd start with checking the relays that power the solenoid. The hydraulic sensors should be for engine shutdown to try and prevent damage.
