Good afternoon - first timer here... I recently purchased a 216B that I feel is a little underpowered. When digging into a pile that I can't break out, it won't even lift the back of the machine - not even close. Is this a common issue or do I have a problem with a pump or maybe the filter? Thanks for any replies. Ben

Cat set the relief valves that way, it's complicated, but you can turn up the valves and injection pump and the anti-stall in less than 2 hours in your driveway, and it will be an animal.
I have pics and what to look for on how to do it, but it's impossible to post them here.

I'd be interested in seeing that information as well. If not possible to post here do you have a link to this info or is it just locked in yor personal computer with no chance of getting out? Thanks in advance. Glen

I hope this link doesn't get censored because of it's outside traffic use:

So the anti-stall is explained on the first page of that thread and then on page 3 you have re-posted or bumped the procedure for the injection pump and relief valves? Am I understanding that correctly? Not sure where we are located here either as I missed out on the beginning of this thread I guess - are we under the cab here? Thx. Glen (another fellow Canuck - even a fellow BC ian)

Yes, anti stall adjustment on page 1 and if you skip the bs'ing, I added more to the thread on page 3, I might have made another post/thread somewhere on Lawnsite with the injection pump pics, but it takes sometime to search.
The loader/bucket relief valve adjustment and anti-stall are under the cab and the injection pump is in the engine, left side on the 2.2's (216-242B) and right side on the 3.3's (236-272B+C Series)

Thanks Ron, I don't see any new content that you added to the 3rd page of the thread but now I understand where all your adjustments are with the explanation you posted here. Thanks again, Glen

Morning Ron I have a 02 Cat 216 Can I do this to my machine even if its not a b series Thank Bill
Yup, if it looks like my Cat "guts" under the cab and in the engine department, then yes.
I've also got a few vids in my YouTube profile that give a decent idea of the power, especially the most recent vids from August, then look at the earlier vids from this year.
