I have an 2006 T-190 gold package loader that needs some air conditioning work. My shop has a machine to recharge the a/c in cars and trucks. My question is how many pounds does it take to fill the system on my T-190?

I see nobody had an answer for you , I have a spec book out in the truck and I am pretty sure it has that spec , I don't go by the weight method , weather it's right or wrong I don't know but what I do, and it has worked for me is fill the system till it has between 30-35 psi on the low side with the compressor running , this works out to 2 to 2 1/2 cans

I just did my S185. It wasn't cooling very good. I purchase a charge kit for around 30 bucks. It will only fit on the suction side and has a gauge. It is fool proof. 1/2 can is all I needed. Is your compressor clutch engageing? If so it may just need a little 135

Thanks all! I really appericiate the info. Got a job tomorrow, then putting the machine in the shop for touch up paint, filters and oil change. I do know the clutch is working so will inspect for leaks as dye was added last time. I'll let you know how the recharge works out.
