well hp on the c201 can range from 35-47 depending on rpm that you run at and torque that continental is the most gutless thing i have ever drove the case dealer said they should have made it with 15+ hp and it would have been a better machine they see a lot of ring gear problems probably from it being gutless and dieing mine is at that place now I have to turn the motor just a bit for the starter to engage I will keep posting progress Have to get all new drive chains this week and then dig through 4 ft of snow to the back shed and get the motor out and up to get it ready for service and get the cherry picker and my heavyduty cart and talk to by boss and get some passes to bring parts in for machining

HI Deck I repowered a L554 NH with this engine and love it. Been awhile but repowered a 1830 with a 34hp Briggs I think on the hp it really made a diffrence vs the original engine. Anyway used a Love Joy coupler between the engine and hydro while using the original engine back plate assembly I would call it. In your case you may need to mount the engine to the "back plate assembly" then have a plate made and recessed and bolted to the ring gear. Once the plate is made mount the Love Joy directly in the center and get it welded.
