Thought I would post some information on the repower of my Bobcat M-371. Skid came with a very tired kohler k321 16 hp single cylinder engine. After some debate on to rebuild or repower I found a 25 hp twin cylinder kohler command for a pretty good price. Overall things went very good and I got very lucky. The engine I bouht had a 1 7/16" inch shaft. The old engine was 1 1/8" so none of the old pulleys fit. I got lucky and found a Ogura electric clutch pully with a 1 7/16" id to use for the drive belt. I ended up finding a sheave at a farm and fleet and had another pulley milled to fit it and I welded it together. The engine I just bolted to the orginal mounting plate and got rid of any of the vibiration mounts. I just did a solid mount. So far it seems to be holding up nicely. I had to reroute the fuel fill and ended up using a elbow for a 1 1/4" drain line. Seems to be holding up. Other then that not to much to it. One of the Mods said they would post some pictures for me. Thanks.
