Bobcat uses a standard CAN bus signal like J1939?

I've always wanted more information about how the engine and other systems are performing on my 2011 Bobcat T180 track loader. However, the indicators on the instrument panel are pretty lackluster. I found someone with a bunch of PRAN PR3810 monochrome displays that take in CAN Bus standard J1939 or J1708 and put the data up on a display. I'm sure I could figure out the wiring and connectors, but I don't want to waste my time if Bobcat used a proprietary or different form of signaling. A quick Google search shows nothing that helps me answer the question of what is used by Bobcat in that year and model. Does anyone know if Bobcat used a standard SAE CAN bus signal format? (What is J1939? Here's a short guide: https://copperhilltech.com/a-brief-introduction-to-the-sae-j1939-protocol/) JT

There was a guy on here years ago that wanted to develop a decent;y priced control unit for attachments vs what bobcat wants to charge. I don't know how far he got, but i never did hear that it was completed, so i suspect it was put on the back burner.
I'd like to hear how you go with it, i'm ok with spinning a wrench and limited knowledge with computer based gear and wires, but messing with an unknown protocol, nope, nope. Is there a way you can tell what protocol it runs by finding a digital line and analyzing it?
